Fowler Elementary School provides solid educational programs for students year in & year out! Students leave Fowler Elementary School with a sound foundation in all the principal subjects, together with many other activities and assignments designed to further develop the student’s knowledge and to build self-assurance. The elementary staff is dedicated to giving our students the best possible start to their education with a solid foundation in reading, phonics, spelling, language, writing, mathematics, social studies, science and technology.

We feature a highly successful Title 1 program, which gives students additional assistance in reading and math. Students who have additional education needs receive Resource Room services customized with an Individual Educational Plan for each student. We provide an afternoon study hall on a daily basis for all students with the instruction emphasis being placed on study skills, organization and increasing educational knowledge.

Fowler Elementary features daily physical education classes and music classes. Fowler Elementary also features a Wi-Fi enabled tablet for each student and Smartboard Technology in every classroom.

The annual attendance rate for the elementary school is typically 95% or higher. Positive Behavior Support (PBS) is another ongoing program that is key to the overall success of our school.

Fowler Elementary offers a wide range of enrichment courses throughout the school year. Band is offered for both fifth and sixth grade students. Our Destination Imagination teams have qualified for the state tournament numerous times. Regular classroom teachers implement art activities regularly. All Fowler Elementary students are assessed at regular intervals with DIBELS, STAR and NWEA tests to track progress and growth, as well as the annual CMAS testing program.

An important part Fowler Elementary’s success is strong parental and community involvement. Parents are active as volunteers in the Title 1 parent night, Book Fairs, Outdoor Education, Annual Fourth Grade Parent Melodrama, Accountability Committee, Climbing Wall volunteers, and Celebrity Readers.
